Founded in 1958, the Architectural Design & Research Institute of Tsinghua University (THAD) is a leading Beijing-based design institute, restructured in 2011 with RMB 100 million registered capital. Backed by Tsinghua University's resources, THAD leads in urban planning and design, ranked among China's "Top 100 Famous Architectural Design Institutes" and No. 2 on the 2024 "Top 500 Owners' Favourite Design Services Providers" list.
